Welcome to our studio!
Our pride
and joy, it will be our absolute pleasure to welcome you into
our private, quiet safe haven.
Our
child-friendly studio is located a short, ten minute drive North of
Winston-Salem, in our 1920’s bungalow-style home in the historical
district of downtown Germanton. I know, tiny. Most people have
never heard of Germanton - and we don't even have ONE stoplight
in our tiny, little community. But we have fields, and
cows, lots of wonderful people and small businesses, and a super short
drive to anything that we need in Winston-Salem. We have a large entry room which serves as our consult and waiting area,
client viewing/projection area and our client gallery, with displays of
prints and modern fine art
canvases. Our waiting area is a place for you to relax, have
a snack and coffee, and catch up on emails (yes, we have Wifi for you!) or reading while we take care of
your little one and capture these priceless memories for you to
keep forever.
Our dedicated shooting space is bright, airy,
welcoming and comfortable. It has been designed with you and
your family’s needs in mind. French doors open up to our camera room, which has
large double windows on
two walls that provide gorgeous natural light that we work with mostly,
and we supplement with fill light where needed. We have a private area for changing and nursing, a restroom that is
always available, and
clients are more than welcome to use our kitchen to heat up a bottle or
rinse off a dropped pacifier.
We have an
ever-growing collection of hand-picked
and handmade props, including one-of-a-kind
antiquities, vintage baskets and crates, custom made headbands and knitted hats,
colorful stretch wraps, banners and buntings, cake stands and
more accessories that are available for you to use during your session.
Please feel free to contact us if you would like to book a
studio viewing prior to booking your session with our studio.
We’re always happy to meet with you and walk you through our
space and answer any questions that you may have.
We have designed our business
model to have a smaller client base, spending much more time working with
each individual client (from the initial consultation, throughout the session and beyond delivery of the final order) and customizing
the
photography session tailored to the client. We are concerned with and pay lots
of attention to detail, not only with the quality of your portraits but
with everything, down to our packaging. We strive to
build relationships with each and every one of our clients to keep
relationships personal, while at the same time keeping ideas fresh and
the experience fun. We
will take the time to get to know you and your children, ask questions to
learn about you during our session, and interact with you so that we can
capture the REAL you.
We are truly
delighted that you have chosen to learn more about us and our studio, and
